hi everyone! i have finally uploaded another video! easing back into recording my rides with a short one on the 122. this is an interesting one as this unit's engine fan is on for the duration of this ride. i can't remember if 483 has always been like this or if the fan just happened to be on today, but these buses sound great with the fan on! when i recorded audios back in 2018, i got some awesome sounding experiences on 2002 NABI 436.10 #110 and 2010 BRTs #452 and especially #471! unfortunately, i deleted those videos a few years ago and they were on my personal channel, which got terminated recently.

anyway, the 122 is a route i have relied on for a very long time. 10 and a half years ago, samTrans discontinued route 123, which was a route that was significantly more convenient for me (aside from the poor frequency). i've seen every nook and cranny of the 122 since switching my dependency onto the 122 it takes me so many places and has tons of connections to other routes and agencies. soon, however, route SKY will begin service on weekdays. starting august 5, route SKY is going to provide limited stop service between daly city BART and skyline college, and it's going to be a great alternative to routes 121 and 122. route SKY is essentially a modified version of route 123, expressing to daly city via hwy 280 instead of duplicating routes 112, 120, and 130 along junipero serra to colma station. i'm very excited to get some footage of route SKY in the near future and yes, i will be riding routes CSM and PCX as well. i might even try FCX and EPX in and out of the transbay terminal, but it'll be tough to fit that into my schedule!
