Channapatna started making sandal soap in 1916. The Sandal Essential Oil Refinery factory is located in Mysore. It is currently the only one hundred percent pure Sandal soap refinery factory in the world. Aside from soap, the factory uses Sandal wood to produce incense of high quality and fair price.
