Kavitha grows sandalwood in an integrated farming system, which combines agriculture, horticulture, treebased agriculture, and animal husbandry. This system provides the farmer with a shortterm (36 months), mediumterm (13 years), and longterm (15 years) income, making both the soil and the farmer rich.
