Sandra Bullock is the latest big screen movie star to lead a movie for Netflix. Susanne Bier's dystopia stars Sandra Bullock, Trevante Rhodes, John Malkovich, Sarah Paulson, Jacki Weaver, Tom Holland and Rosa Salazar.

Bullock talks about the attraction of placing a more intimate film inside a popcorn thriller, and making a human film out of a blockbuster. She explains how she could communicate emotion with a blindfold on. She talks about the appeal of Netflix and how the streaming services allow a wider audience to take in new films in their own time. The new movies at home experience is touched upon, and how as filmmakers they have to change some parts of how they produce the films.

The actress also talks about working with her Ocean's Eight costar Sarah Paulson, as well as John Malkovich whose guntoting character is as far removed from his real life personality. His method of saving a scene, as told by Bullock here, is heartwarming.
