(4K, 2023) A bus journey from the village of Sandwick to Sumburgh Airport aboard the ZetTrans Service 6 Lerwick to Sumburgh Airport route, South Mainland Shetland Islands, Scotland, UK, in Spring 2023. The bus route mostly travels along the A970 main North/South road, but exits off the road to villages such as Sandwick, Hoswick, Levenwick, and Toab. It stops at many junctions along the way providing access to local roads, villages, and crofts. I was not able to capture the entire journey from Lerwick unfortunately, but the landscape and coastline was so varied and beautiful, I am happy with what I did manage to capture, including some Shetland Ponies, the 60 degrees North marker sign on the road, and the infamous Sumburgh Airport Runway level crossing on Runways 09/27!
