Big Sky Stearman and Sandy River Airport presents the First Annual Sandy River Airport FlyIn! Sandy River Airport has a smaller grass strip, but has been around for decades and local aviators where excited to return to this classic strip. They were able to relax with likeminds, enjoy some good food, get tours of the local business on the Airport including Big Sky Stearman and sit through a Maintenance talk by an FAA inspector. During the event John Pike of Big Sky Stearman was honored to receive the FAA Master Mechanic Award.
