Hans, who was diagnosed with primary progressive multiple sclerosis at 39 years old, thought ending up in a wheelchair would be the “end of the world.” After feeling like a victim, Hans changed his mindset to have a more positive outlook. Today, Hans is writing a book, with the help of speech to text technology, about his practical and resilient attitude toward life in the hopes of helping others living with MS or a similarly debilitating disease.
