Big Bend National park has many attractions worth the trip to deep south Texas but the one that tops them all is without question the Santa Elena canyon. Separating two countries (Mexico and United States) the Santa Elena river carves its way through 1500 feet of rock creating an unbelievable sight you can only comprehend in person. Everyone should take the time to visit at least once in their lifetime as it's worth the drive!
