For this new model train video, I built the longest layout I've ever done inside my house in Southeastern Washington. It takes the Santa Fe Super Chief three minutes to complete the entire layout... and then thanks to a reversing loop, the train can turn around and do the layout in the reverse direction.

If you like model train videos, you'll probably really enjoy this one! I hope you haven't gotten tired of seeing the Santa Fe Super Chief in my videos over the years. It's my favorite locomotive, so I use it more than most of my other model trains.

This video is appropriate for viewing by all ages and nationalities, including children... although I find that the hobby of model trains mainly appeals to adults. I think the cost of the equipment is really a barrier to families with young children. The model trains and track that you see in this video cost many thousands of dollars... so, it's not really a hobby that most families with young kids can afford.
