Sanyo VTC6500 Betacord - Checks and tests Part 1

This one's a little bit different insofar as we have not one but two Sanyo VTC6500 Betacord 'Betamax' machines. Only Sony officially used the Betamax name with other manufacturers using Betacord or just simply Beta.

Both are great machines but one needs some servicing while the other is perfect but has a 'membrane' issue. Part 2 will have belt and idler plus servicing of one of the decks plus a solution for the membrane (it isn't really a membrane rather a sheet of thin plastic covering normal tactile buttons to make it look more modern than these were!)

Had some definite brain fog with this one too although I always seem to struggle with the pinch roller assembly arm spring placement at the best of times! No idea why!
