Notice that the solver program works with only one variable, X. It will not solve multivariable equations, nor absolute value problems, nor quadratics. Basically, it can solve equations with only one variable and one answer. More than one variable or more than one answer, and you’ll need another submenu option. Those are available for the SATMATH program under quadratics, absolute value equations, etc. Alas, there is no multivariable option yet available for the SATMATH program.

So, it can solve your generic algebraic equation:
3x4 = 7(2x)

Even a fractional equation:
(2x+4)/3 = 6

A power equation:
3^(x+1) = 243

Or, an equation with a variable as the base:
x^(3/2) = 64

Log equations, also:
Log (x+2) = 5

Rational Equations, so long as there is only a single answer:
x/2 =( 2x+4)/5

And even radical equations:
rad(3x3) = 6

Just be careful to enclose any and all expressions within parentheses. This goes especially for numerators, denominators, exponents, and logs.
