Purchasing from an International country?

Tourists and visitors can claim refund on VAT paid on purchases they made during their stay in the international country.

When you buy goods make sure you are buying from
retailers who fall under Tourist schemes.

Next carry your passports, always take the bill of purchase and VAT refund form from the shopkeeper after shopping.

In the international Airport you have to go to the counter with your passport and with the purchased goods to be validated.

You'll get a refund within 57 days from the date of leaving the country.

In Dubai the maximum amount of VAT Refund you can get is 7000 AED (₹155500.91)

Today 1AED = ₹22.21
So 7000AED = ₹155500.91
