Today’s daily rehab video is the full progression of the Scapula Press in a closed chain position to help you with this Serratus Anterior strengthening, scapula mobility and winging. This video will take you right through from beginner to advanced from two hands on the wall to one hand on the floor with a ball or band. These are all close chain movements and should be done before open chain work when you are trying to get stronger in your Serratus, improve any winging or recover from injury such as an AC joint, rotator cuff, or labral tear.
Usual progression is two arms to one arm, increasing stability before load, so usually starting with the wall options before the floor options. Important to get technique, control, activation first before working on strength.
