A drivers eye view of the Scarborough to York line, opened in 1845 is served by an hourly TransPennine Express service. Our train is one of the brand new Nova 3 sets, a Class 68 locomotive and five Mark 5A coaches.


Calling at three stations on route, we get to learn about the history of the branch line and train with full commentary and also we get to take a brief look at Castle Howard. It's taken a whole year to film and put together, so a fitting way to finish 2020 (which hasn't been the best of years), with a peaceful driver eye view in Yorkshire.
