The Picking Copper Kettle Factory was featured in season two of Scenic Stops, an original program on WBGUTV in Bowling Green, Ohio. The factory was built in Bucyrus, Ohio in 1873, and started building applebutter kettles in 1874, which have now been made there for 139 years. The Picking Factory makes their kettles by hand, and is the only company in America that hammers them by hand. In addition to applebutter kettles, Picking makes copper drums for tympani for some of the major orchestras in the United States.
