Example: For a 15day trip, if you spend 5 days in France, 4 days in Italy, 4 days in Switzerland, and 2 days in Germany, then you have to apply for Schengen Visa through France.

First Port of Entry If the duration of your stay in all the countries is equal, then you have to apply through the country where you will enter first.

Example: For a 16day trip, if you spend 4 days each in France, Italy, Germany, and Switzerland and your flight is to Switzerland from India, then you apply for Schengen Visa through Switzerland.

1. Go to the VFS Switzerland website at https://visa.vfsglobal.com/ind/en/che/
2. Click on Book Now button under Book an Appointment option.
3. On Book an Appointment page, click on Book Now button.
4. Sign Up for an account else Sign In with your details.
5. Click on the Start New Booking button.
6. Select your Visa Application Centre, choose your subcategory, and click on Other.
7. On the next page, fill out all your details such as First Name, Last Name, Gender, DOB, Passport Number, Passport Expiry Date, Nationality, Contact Details, and Address.
8. Review your details and then move to the Book an Appointment page.
9. Select your desired date and time slot for the appointment (preferably early morning slot) and then save the details.
10. Review all the details for your appointment and complete the booking.
11. Your appointment is made an email will be sent with all the details. Take a printout of the appointment letter and bring it with your application on your appointment date.
