A massive building swell and great weather led the way to the wild day of action, which displayed the art of tow surfing, where Lucas Chianca & Pedro Scooby’s teamwork won the day. Nazaré, Portugal is home to the biggest waves on Earth. In the TUDOR Nazaré Big Wave Challenge, twoperson teams made up of men and women take turns surfing and driving the jetski as they compete in potentially recordsetting surf.

The WSL Big Wave season is the time of year when humans push the boundaries of what’s possible on a surfboard. In the sport’s premier paddleonly event at Jaws and tow surfing challenge at Nazaré, these men and women drop in and charge the impossible for the ride of a lifetime.
