Have you thought of studying Operations and Supply Chain management in Canada? Do you wonder How you can get admission in UBC? Honest Student reviews about UCW, KPU & UBC? This vlog is on Chit chat with my friends related to Life and Job market in Canada and the impact of Recession.

In this vlog, we first went to collect our glasses that we purchased on employee health benefits in Canada. Afterwards, we went to meet our Friends i.e., Monu & Nidhi. We four were together in same batch of our Bachelors at Amity University. Monu & Nidhi came to Canada two years back to study Operations and Supply chain management in Canada. There are ample opportunities and jobs in this field as Vancouver has the biggest port in Canada. Also, Due to extreme weather conditions, there are many Warehouses in Canada and there is strong market of Supply chain. Monu & Nidhi recently graduated and shared their study experience in Canada including working on assignments, parttime jobs, making friends and improving social life. We went for some evening snacks at Desi Rasoi in Surrey and tried Chat papri and Dahi Bhalle. Overall, the food was good but not very great. We also discussed about the University Canada West (UCW) which is a private university in Vancouver downtown. UCW is known to attract Indian students due to low admission requirements but does not very a very good reputation in Canadian job market. We recommend to choose your course and college or university wisely so that you don’t regret later after paying hefty tuition fees in Canada. In our opinion, As a new international student in Canada, one must focus and improve their skills that will help them the most to grab a good paying job in Canada. Many students from India rely entirely on Education consultants or agents and only do things that their agent suggest them. However, we recommend students to do their own research on colleges, universities, jobs, salaries, etc., prior to deciding to come to Canada. We also discussed that how Canada provides equal job opportunities to all without having any gender discrimination. On the way, Monu mentioned how he was able to save his one year of tuition fees which was around 15000 to 16000 cad easily as a student studying at KPU University.

In the end, we met one of our subscriber who recently got admission into Master of Food Science at UBC. Despite recession, UBC graduates were able to find their field jobs within one month of graduating. We also discussed the UBC admission process and the basic eligibility requirements. Even the Indian culture is very different from Canadian culture. Kritika shared her 2 weeks experience in Canada and how she is liking it so far? WE gave 5 tips to her as she is a new international student in Canada. Please check out the full video for more details like life, work, study, parttime jobs, fulltime jobs, etc. in Canada.
