* Composition notebook measuring 9.75" x 7.50"
(if you want to use yardage instead of what I show, cut your front and liner pieces each at 11" x 16.50", the flap measurements are below)

Fabric cuts that were shown in tutorial:
* Two main front pieces:
* One at 11" x 11.50"
* One narrower piece cut at 11" x 5.50"
* Pocket for front cut at 5.50" x 11" and a piece of SF101 5.5" x 5.5" for inside the pocket
* Two flap pieces, each measuring 11" x 9"
(you can cut these anywhere between 8 10") with each flap needing a piece of sf101 cut at half the width (4.5" if you cut them at 9").
* Coordinating fabric (I used muslin in the demo) measuring 11" x 16.50"
* 11" x 16.50" piece of cotton batting or fusible fleece (I used Pellon 987f)
* If you choose to applique the same way I showed, you'll need Heat N Bond Lite
