Scythians: History and Culture (Documentary)

Historical Adventure

The Scythians were a nomadic people of the vast Eurasian steppe. They boasted a rich art culture and played a pivotal role in several historical events, including the forging and destruction of various empires. These noble horselords were viewed as enigmatic by neighboring civilizations such as the Greeks and Persians. The only extensive research conducted in ancient times about these people was done by Herodotus in his work 'The Histories.' In addition to this, most of the knowledge we have today about the Scythians comes from archaeological excavations that began in the 18th century and continue to this day. In this video, we will showcase the chronological history of the Scythians and explore their fascinating culture.
