We were blessed by extremely nice weather for the month of may and decided to head to British Columbia to camp out at Fort Steele. Fort Steele and Fisherville where old mining towns at the heart of the Gold Rush. Fisherville at one time boosted 5000 people looking to strike it rich. Some made their fortune and some went home broke, all that remains of fisherville now is some graves and whats left over for buildings as the moved and burnt the town down after finding gold under it.
There still is gold to be found here, most of it is very small flakes and flour gold but it can still be recovered that's for sure.
