Blessed Anastasia, known as Sitting Anastasia, is a locallyvenerated saint in the Georgian Orthodox Church who has not yet been formally canonized. As a beautiful young woman, a potential suitor came to inquire. Her stepmother lied and said Anastasia was not interested, and the potential suitor shot himself dead on the spot.

Blessed Anastasia sat down on the place next to where her wouldbe suitor died, and remained sitting there for 65 years, praying for him and for anyone else who came to her.

She developed astonishing gifts of perspicacity and many miracles were worked by this simple maiden, who took upon herself the burden of Holy FoolforChrist.

Her arms and legs fused together in a way science cannot explain, and she had to be buried in a speciallymade cubeshaped coffin.

Yesterday we visited her grave and recorded a short interview with the man who takes care of her grave.

People like it when I spend time replying to every comment on YouTube.

I try to do that when I have time. I love it when YouTubers engage with their audience.

But my free time is limited. I'm not a YouTuber, I'm not an influencer, I'm an English teacher who works parttime. I want to work fulltime, and am trying my best to make that happen.

When I'm not teaching English, I have little incentive to work on the channel to improve it, because I don't get paid for that.

I also get a LOT of abuse in the comment section. A lot. You think I want to be abused and not get paid for it? Think again.

People want me to answer their immigration questions. A LOT of people are moving here. I get people asking questions every day.

Time is money. If you ask me what I'd rather do with my free time, I'll answer honestly: I'd much rather go work on the house, or spend time wandering the streets of Tbilisi with my Elena.

I've been looking for a fulltime IT job, because half of my students quit for the summer, and that hurts my wallet directly. If we can't afford to eat, I'm definitely not making more videos for you guys. Priorities.

So here's the deal:

1. If you want your comment answered, I'll do so in a video for the edification or instruction of all. Sponsor half an hour of my time and I'll answer your comment and any other questions you have.

2. If you have immigration questions, sponsor an hour of my time and I will answer every question you have. Split the cost with friends and we'll pile on a Zoom together and I will answer everything I can, or point you to people who do know. If it requires research, I will research it right there and explain my methods of research, so you can find answers better yourself. If the answer requires knowledge of Russian, and Elena is available, I will ask her right there.

3. Part of the reason my videos appear thrown together is because they are literally that: I toss them together with minimal editing in my free time. I have almost no free time. If you want better videos, sponsor an hour of my time, and I'll spend that time making very good intros and thumbnails, and pay someone to do professional subtitles. If I could invest an hour of time per video, I could make some VERY polished videos, and study filmmaking to make them better.

4. If you want me to make better videos, sponsor a new stabilizer. My stabilizer/selfie stick broke when I came to Russia. My iPhone is malfunctioning and needs to be serviced or replaced soon. I can't afford to buy a new 4K camera. If you want me to make better videos, I need better equipment.
