This is the second tethered testflight of the improved version of the StarLite UAV helicopter, now designated as the HeavyLift 4rotorblade SVU200, designed and built by Mr. Dennis Fetters for the Hunan Sunward Science and Technology Company in China.

This second flight is still being performed by a person that is only a pilot of small RC type helicopters, and has never flown a real helicopter. This flight further demonstrates the natural stabilizing effects of the newly designed rotorhead and control system that Mr. Fetters recently designed. Further flight tests will be performed in February 2012 by an experienced UAV helicopter testpilot.

As the pilot made further adjustments to the controls, the helicopter gradually becomes more and more stable, yet it is still being flown without the aid of any electronic stabilization systems. This shows you the progression in stability as the pilot quickly becomes more familiar with the newly designed aircraft.

The StarLite SVU200 is powered by a Rotax 582 engine using the specially designed PEP (Power Enhancement Package) exhaust system, enabling the engine to produce 78 horsepower. The SVU200 is capable of lifting up to 200kg of payload and fly at a top speed of 209km/hr. The SUV200 has two internal payload bays, one in the nose and one in the rear of the aircraft, and is also equipped with hardpoints and capable of hauling slingsloads, or carry an external cargo/payload pod, or even extended range tanks with extra fuel for extended mission capabilities.
