80 years after the landing, historian Hugues Wenkin discovered in American archives the real reason for Rudder's delay of more than 30 minutes on Pointe du Hoc! A secret that has remained well kept until then. It was for his research work on the ACL and the comparison of the film “Saving Private Ryan” that Hugues found a declassified report from the American army.
In this report, we travel through Sector Charlie on Omaha to understand the story of Captain Goranson's Force B Rangers aka Captain Miller in Spielberg's film.
