He succeeds in filming impressive scenes of a Giant Octopus rendezvous and the unselfish care of a female: for months, the mothertobe protects and fans her clutch, before she dies, totally exhausted.
At the same time, Florian Graner follows the developments of the young giant octopus Eleonora in the Marine Science Centre at Port Townsend. After a year, Florian full of respect for a different kind of intelligence, brings the now much larger octopus back to the habitat where it came from.
