Detroit Property Manager, Detroit Real Estate Investor, Detroit Landlord, REIA of Oakland educator Monique Burns gives the 101 description of Section 8, a.k.a. the Housing Choice Voucher Program for U.S. citizens who are deemed low income. This is a good first video for landlords and investors using a property management company to watch in my series on Section 8 Secrets Revealed.

In a nutshell, Section 8 is a federal government program for lowincome people that provides rent money directly to the landlord. Section 8 is a Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program that funds local Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) all over the USA. I happen to like the program, especially because I have experience working with the Housing Choice Voucher program, a.k.a., Section 8. It can be a successful income stream if done right.
