These "hoverboards", also known at Selfbalancing, electric balance boards, smart 2wheel "miniSegwaylike", no handlebar scooter. They were crazy popular when they first came out, and now there are a TON of alternative versions and selfbalancing evehicles available. This is the one that started them all! :)

Overall, this scooter is a blast! It's so much fun to ride, quick to learn, easy to transport, and pretty affordable for what you get.
I highly recommend!

Learning to ride is easy and intuitive.. takes just a little bit of practice. I like to push my feet to the outside edges, helps with stability. If you lean forward or back, it will try to keep you balancing upright, thus forward or backward motion. To turn, adjust more pressure on one footpad over the other, and it will accelerate that wheel forward.
These hoverboards also make for awesome steadicam tracks, preventing wobble/bobbing up and down from walking.
