There should be no shame in having mental health challenges and neither should there be any shame in using comfort tools for self care. Using comfort tools is OK! I thought it was about time that my comfort tool, lambycat, had his own dedicated vlog. Not many 43 year old men will admit they travel with, sleep with and talk to their stuffed animal, but I am admitting it without any shame! Lamby has been with me throughout my recovery and gender transition and is very much part of my wellness toolkit in keeping myself in good mental health. He's a far better alternative to the ways in which I used to manage my mental health so I make no apologies for him!
I would love to see your stuffed animals if you feel brave enough to share!
