PHILOSOPHY is the fourth chapter of the book HUMAN RELATIONS, by Seneca. In this video, professor and volunteer from New Acropolis, LÚCIA HELENA GALVÃO, makes comments on the topic addressed, suggesting practical applications of its teachings in our daily lives.

About the book "Human Relations" by the stoic philosopher Seneca:
Seneca wrote this work in his old age when he had retired from public life to his country house. It is a series of letters he addresses to Lucilius, beginning in July 62 AD., and corresponds to the brief period of less than three years of life that he still had left. In April 65 he slits his wrists by order of the despot emperor Nero.

The letters devoted to friendship (   • ESTOICISMO  SÊNECA: SOBRE A AMIZADE ...  ) are a prelude that inspires the disciple to cultivate a virtuous and complete friendship with the master, to then encourage the development of deeper themes, those that will lead the friend the wisdom.
