During the 1st full weekend of September, the Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij organizes the largest steam train festival in the Netherlands, Back to Then. During this festival weekend, all operational steam locomotives and some diesel locomotives will run on the routes between Beekbergen Apeldoorn, Beekbergen Loenen and Loenen Eerbeek Dieren. Extra spectacular is the morning freight train that departs from Loenen just after sunrise. The 50 307 had the honor to pull this train today.
