Septic Tank Installation of our Dual Tank Septic System Infiltrator

The original bid to hire someone to install our septic tank was around $8k which included the tank, digging, setting, and backfill. This was before the contractor had any idea about what was beneath the ground. I'd bet that having to break out all the rock would have raised the price at least $2k to $10,000! We were able to do it for around $4,000!!!

To accomplish this I did have to take a test to get my installers permit but to be honest it wasn't very difficult. We've found that was the outcome in most of the things we've done while building this home. From the foundation to the framing to the solar and now to the septic. The parts of the build that concerned us the most ended up being not so bad at all.
