Hello and welcome to Shed Talk, my weekly magazine video series looking at the keeping, breeding and showing of cage birds with a special focus on the exhibition style budgerigar.

As promised in the last episode it is time to try out Alan Marchet’s matrix for assessing the budgerigars. With a few minor changes I run this year’s young birds through the show cages to see how it works for me.

There is also a quick update on the final few breeding pairs and out in the Fife Canary Room we have eggs in both nests but are any of them full?
