Hello and welcome to Shed Talk, my weekly magazine video series looking at the keeping, breeding and showing of cage birds with a special focus on the exhibition style budgerigar.
A change from our normal focus on the Budgerigars, this week's episode is all about the Fife Canaries. We start by taking a look at the birds that were benched at the International Fife Fancy Canary Association Show held in Oxford. There were some wonderful looking birds to view and a big congratulations to all the winners and well done to those who took the time to organise the event. My first major Fife Canary show, so how did I get on?
Having seen what a good Fife looks like it is time to assess my birds. I run them all through the show cage and pick my top. Still learning so I may have got this all wrong, let me know in the comments.
The episode finishes with a very quick update on how the breeding budgies are getting on.
