Good day friends. Today we are taking a look into the Book of Nahum which features a word of judgment against Nineveh and the Assyrian Empire (which ruled over a number of nations for about 300 years). The Assyrians were a cruel and barbaric nation whose war crimes are actually carved into stone records. Nahum's message from the LORD that they would be judged and held accountable by God was welcome news and a reminder to us that God is good and He is Just and that no matter what happens here, a day of accounting is coming. In the meantime we as the followers of the LORD Jesus Christ are to stay faithful and for all who don't know Him as Saviour and LORD, the call is to turn to Him in repentance and faith for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life.
