Marilia visits her mother in Serpa, and we took the opportunity to make this video and share our trip. We are in the interior of the district of Beja, the architecture is specific to this region, closer to the border with Andalusia. A village within a centuryold wall and a castle rebuilt in the 13th century by D.Dinis. Everywhere there are traces of the Arab past, as the village and the castle already existed when D.Afonso Henriques' first reconquest. Serpa Cheese is famous all over the country, and deserves all its fame, we had a tasting in the center of Serpa in a local products shop.
