From 1970, Gordon (Matt Robinson) and the kids (Francesca and Rico) check out a live turtle. They don't touch him, mind you, which looks so odd, lol. Another in the semiregular series of animals visiting the Street that I've called "Animal Antics", not an official title, this clip is from Episode 115 (aired April 17, 1970).

At the end, Gordon talks about turtles coming from eggs, which leads into the E for Egg Speech Balloon cartoon (linked below).

Two different segments were shown over the course of an episode with different animals in each. This one also has a Gordon visit with a kinkajou (also linked below).
