Over the weekend, a Reddit user (sarsaparilla170170), uploaded probably THE most wanted Lost Media from Sesame Street, the Wicked Witch episode from 1976 (Ep 847), yeah! It has since been uploaded just about everywhere so it will never be "lost" again, whew. In a nutshell, actress Margaret Hamilton reprises her role from "The Wizard of Oz" as the Wicked Witch of the West, complete with scary green face makeup, loses her flying broomstick and proceeds to terrify the street trying to get it back. If there's anything more OG than Big Bird defending Hooper's Store armed with a baseball bat and a hockey stick then I don't know what's happening anymore, lol. Shown on television only once, the episode drew angry letters from parents and even some kids that were just too scared to watch the show ever again. So, they tucked it away in the vault, never to be seen again. Until now! Enjoy. Originally aired on February 10, 1976 (Season 7).
