Today we were setting out our Magic Bait Trotline to see if we could catch any catfish. We ended up only catching a 10.5 Lb Bluecat and a half eaten Channel Cat, but it was still pretty successful.

Our Tips: When using any trotline try to place it at the mouth of a cove or creek. Also we tend to have better luck when using live sunfish or minnows, but cut bait, dead bait, and liver are also great baits. We would also like to mention that you will usually catch smaller, (110 Lb) eater size, catfish than when you use limblines.
