SHADING On TONED-TAN Paper With COPICS

DramaticParrot

A lot of people ask me about shading on toned tan paper with my copic markers. I thought it would be helpful to post a quick tutorial on how to shade on toned tan paper, using only my warm grey copic markers, along with a few whitening tools.

Worjing on tonedtan paper may be a little bit intimidating to some artists, but it really is a fun challenge to add a lot of color on to paper, making colors pop and highlights as well. Hopefully this can help a little if you're ever considreing doodling on tonedtan or greytoned paper.

Materials:
Strathmore TonedTan Paper
White Pencil
W1, W3, W5, W7 Copic Markers
Gelly Roll White Gel Pen
