PadmaShri. Shankar Mahadevan is a very popular Indian Singer And Music Composer and one among the famous Composing Trio of Music Industry #ShankarEhsaanLoy. He was born on 3 March 1967 in Chembur, Mumbai in a Tamil family. He has learnt Hindustani classical and Carnatic music and studied under the supervision of the legendry singer #Padma Bhushan. Shri Shrinivas Khale. He is singing songs in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. He has composed songs for numerous Indian films which includeZindagi Na Milegi Dobaara, Taare Zameen Par, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and many more. He has personally sung songs like ‘Taare Zameen Par’, ‘India Waale’ from ‘Happy New Year’ as well as famous Marathi songs like ‘Mann Udhaan Varyache’ from Aga Bai Arrecha, ‘Sur Niragas Ho’, ‘Man Mandira’, ‘Ghei Chhand Makarand’ from ‘Katyar Kaljat Ghusli’.
