Years ago, The Virgin Lady Arella became a part of a cult. As a ritual, she was sacrficed and she unkowingly slept with the demon Trigon.

Nine months later Arella was carrying the daughter of Trigon, Raven. Later Discovering Trigon's demonic nature, Arella fled and found refuge in Azarath, a mystical dimension. Raven, seeking knowledge about her father, inadvertently led Trigon to destroy Azarath and its inhabitants. She managed to imprison him in a crystal and later joined the Teen Titans.

In presentday Earth, Trigon's demonic influence resurfaces. Batman’s son Damian Wayne joins the Titans after a reckless action, leading to a series of battles involving possessed Justice League members. The Titans and League unite to stop Trigon, ultimately venturing to Hell to save Raven.
