On this particular day we headed to the south of Shetland starting off the day at Sumburgh Head at the southern tip of the Shetland Mainland (RSPB Nature Reserve). Afterward we visited a couple of archeological sites like Old Scatness and Jarlshoff, dating from around 2000 BC, where each new generation added new buildings leveling off old ones.

On the second half of the day we walked around St. Ninian's Isle, which is a small tied island connected by the largest tombolo in the UK.
