They all looked human, only higher
With wings that spread and touched the sky,
I stood there trembling, asking why.

I saw wheels beside them turn,
Topaz sparkles, fire that burns.
A wheel within, a wheel without,
These creatures rise up from the ground.

Their wings like rushing waters roar,
And I was shaken to my core.
My mouth wide open, my eyes just stare
Who are those creatures over there?

Shining Ones, like coals of fire,
Lightning flashing, lifts them higher,
With faces of both beast and man,
I try but cannot understand

Their spirits move,
The wheels keep turning
Rims full of eyes,
Their bodies burning

Above their heads, a crystal dome,
And there He sat on a sapphire throne,
A Blazing fire, A Man of flames,
Still rising higher, No earthly name.
A rainbow wrapped around His throne,
I stood there trembling all alone.
