Check out this AWESOME Shop Built Portable Band Saw cutting jig! This jig allows you to make fast and accurate 45 degree left and right hand miter cuts using your portable band saw! You can even make straight cuts! The jig can be clamped into your bench vise or you can simply clamp it to your work piece and make the cut.

This is a prototype and proof of concept that I plan to refine over time. So far, it's a huge WINNER! If you plan to build this for yourself, don't use 3" plate. I think it would work better using 2" plate for the reasons mentioned in the video.
