Armed with a freshly regeared Jeep Wrangler TJ from 3.07 to 4.88 and successfully tested we headed to the nearest Oregon State OHV area for a test run down an easy and moderate trail at Shotgun Creek down Marcola road...about a 35 minute drive from our place in Fall Creek just outside Eugene and Springfield. We get to the trailhead (after only missing one turn) and discover someone's bulldozed it closed...which of course was not mentioned on their website or any signage that we could see...we noticed some tread marks just to the side of the bulldozed area and followed them over and went down the road. Halfway down the road we finally found closure signs and realized our mistake. Jeep ran well...no chainsaw needed, no winching required...no oil pressure issues now that I've found a working sensor...and the check engine light was still on from my last drive from occasional misfire codes that I just can't seem to shake.
