He was fast, he was feisty, he was fearless. Juan Pablo Montoya was a man who probably didn't fit the mould of a modern F1 driver, with his outbursts probably on par with the likes of Piquet and Hunt, but by golly was this dude rapid.

He caught Michael Schumacher with his pants down and didn't bat an eyelid. He dumped half a second on second place at Monaco, he rinsed the field the following year and has won TWO Indy 500s. He also says he's got the triple crown. I won't fight him.

He was definitely one of my favourite drivers growing up. Fast with no Fs to give. He basically took Eddie Irvine and turned him up to 11... But maybe that was his undoing?
