रुद्राध्यायी वसेद्यत्र ग्रामे वा नगरेsपि वा।
न तत्र क्षुत्पिपासाद्याः दुर्भिक्षव्याधयोsपि च॥

One who incessantly contemplates on the deeper meaning of Rudrādhyaya, not only derives material and spiritual meaning for himself, but also becomes a source of social welfare.

Rudrādhyayaḥ, comprising of Rudram and Chamakam (which are generally recited consecutively) are compilation of Mantras dedicated to Lord Rudra (an epithet of Lord Shiva), extracted from the Kṛṣṇa Yajurveda​'s Taittirīya Saṃhita​ (4th Kāṇḍa, 5th Prapāṭhaka and 7th Prapāṭhaka respectively). As stated in the Jābālopaniṣat, when sage Yājñyavalkya was requested by his disciples to mention one hymn that bestows immortality on repeated meaningful recitations, he pronounced 'Śatarudrīyena​'. Hence, Rudrādhyaya is also called Śatarudrīya, with a reference that the God is one, who manifest Themselves in hundreds of forms.

The Namakam Chamakam album, titled 'Paraatpara Parameshwara' was recorded by Challakere brothers in 1995. The prologue to the album was recorded by the brothers' philosophical Guru, Late. Śrī N. R. Kaalingakrishna Sharma, highschool head master, Challakere (1919 1999). In order to mark his birth centenary in the year 2019, the album was rerecorded in the same year. This album is dedicated to him with umpteen devotion and respect.

The rerecorded version includes Nyāsam, a ritual conducted before Abhiṣekam.
