Once a popular trail, but damaged by rock falls in the 1970s, the trail to Sierra Point was never repaired and gradually forgotten. Thanks to the internet, it is gradually being rediscovered. But this is no longer an easy hike and you'll need some crosscountry hiking experience to tackle it.
