In this video I head out with the Sigma 56mm 1.4 and get some portraits of both Tia & Beau (our 6yr old boxer dog).

We managed to get out in Golden Hour, so I used the sun as a backlight though the trees for the portraits of Tia which seemed to work pretty well.

The dog portraits of Beau came out ‘okay’ but couldn’t quite get her posed the way I had in mind! They say never work with kids or animals right?!

Tried to edit the images of Beau with that ‘moody green’ look I’ve seen knocking around on YouTube / Instagram. The images of Tia didn’t need too much work they looked pretty good straight out of camera just tried to edit for that warm, vintage kinda feel.
