After months of waiting since the middle section if the iverhead freeway was built back in may, UP has decided to reinstall their north side southbound lane crossing signal in a slightly new location as the new column sits in its old spot but surprisingly reinstalled the signal with a new NEG EBell. It has marks on it as if it was used before but not sure. Not sure what happened to the original WCH EBell possibly it got damaged during the removal of this signal. This signal was removed back in March 2023 when construction on the column started last year. Note also, I fipmed here last week befire they reinstalled the signal and the GS EBell on the gateless signal was rewired and rings now five and a half years after the crossing was being built here. You can hear it strt up before the NEG EBell. This crossing went from a WCH EBell dominate sound to a Type 2 dominate sound quickly. The new column blocks the back side lights so they should just remove them all together or add an mast on the other aide of the column would be cool to see. Not surprised they used the same signal since it wasn't old when removed. I came back later in the day to get another video of this crossing from the other side also.

Union Pacific Railroad Florin Flyer Local freight train passes through the closed Ramona Avenue railroad crossing on the UP Placerville Branch in Sacramento, California. UP 637 ended up back on this train as last weej, 651 was added back on. I recently caught 637 on a manifest train in Roseville weeks ago but its a while until that video is published.

This crossing owned by Union Pacific is an mixed install with the shoulder cantilever signals both being an UP late 2010s signal equipment install both with the close one having its bell changed from original and was relocated and the gateless signal being made from UP all 2010s era signal install parts.
